ArchiTerra 3 and random trees
Hello.
The random trees function is great. :D :D :D
Is it possible to have other trees like conifers (I need drawings which look like pines, fir trees or larches) ?
Thank you.

Just change the tree brunch angles... ArchiTerra will realize it is a conifer and the tree will behave in a different way.

Ok. I had not understood. I had tested several angles and I did not manage to go down below 20°. Now, I know that there are two ranges :
1/ 20° to 70°
2/ -15° to -20°
One more thing : I find damage not to be able to regulate the total diameter of the tree.
One more thing : to create conifers, I think that a very strong machine is needed (3D calculation). How to parameterize the trees not to have a too long calculating time (the problem is that certain parameters are modified automatically by the software) ?
Thank you.

Yes, there is a range of values from which you can choose.
For a conifer you should set -20°.
Please send me an example of your conifer: i tested just now and anything seems to work fine (about the trunk diameter).
To get fast tree you should decrease the number of main brunch (3-4) and the complexity (number of iteration) and maybe use a custom leaves shape... of course anything depends by the number of tree you are going to insert in your model.
